Tom Dresser is General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at HOF Capital, leading legal and compliance activities, which include overseeing HOF’s fund administration and portfolio company investments and managing its outside legal and compliance functions.
Prior to joining HOF Capital, Tom practiced in the corporate group of Gunderson Dettmer’s New York office, where he regularly advised venture capital funds in connection with investment activity and portfolio company matters, as well as start-up and growth companies throughout all their lifecycles, including in connection with financings, corporate governance, equity-related matters, M&A and other strategic transactions. Prior to joining Gunderson, Tom practiced in the corporate group at Davis Polk, where he represented corporate clients and boards of directors in connection with a wide variety of strategic transactions and commercial matters.
Tom holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Virginia, and a J.D. from The University of Chicago Law School.
