Richard Kandel is a Partner at HOF Capital, where he focuses on growth-stage technology investing. In addition to private investments, he also helps oversee the firm’s crossover initiatives, supporting portfolio companies as they transition into the public markets.
Before joining HOF, Richard led growth investments on behalf of several family offices and institutions, investing in private companies such as Anaplan (acquired by Thoma Bravo), Coupang (NYSE:CPNG), Grab (NASDAQ:GRAB), Rubrik (NYSE:RBRK), and SentinelOne (NYSE:S). Earlier, he was a Vice President at HQ Capital.
Richard began his career at Thomas Weisel Partners. He graduated from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, where he studied finance. He is a member of YPO (Young Presidents’ Organization).
