Ryan is a Partner at HOF Capital, investing across the firm’s early and growth-stage funds. He focuses on AI infrastructure, enterprise software, and technologies reshaping the physical world.
Ryan began his venture career in 2011 at Insight Partners and went on to invest at Spark Capital and Thrive Capital, where he worked on companies including Affirm (NASDAQ: AFRM), Slack (acquired by Salesforce), and Grammarly. He later served as a General Partner and Head of Venture Investing at GreenPoint Partners, helping build the firm from inception to over $1 billion in AUM.
He graduated magna cum laude from Wharton and grew up in South Africa, a background that shapes his global view on innovation.
